Dr. Terry H. Clarke, DPM
Dr. Terry H. Clarke is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon dedicated to helping patients restore mobility, relieve pain, and improve their overall quality of life. As the founder of Foot & Ankle Specialists of Central PA and Wound Care Specialists of Central PA, he provides comprehensive care using advanced technology and evidence-based treatment for everything from common foot conditions to complex reconstructive surgery and chronic wound management.
Originally from the Florida Panhandle, Dr. Clarke earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude while participating in the CALS Honors Program. He then earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, where he graduated with honors.
Following medical school, Dr. Clarke completed a three-year residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Crozer-Keystone Health System, serving as Chief Resident while specializing in foot and ankle reconstruction. He further expanded his expertise through a fellowship in limb lengthening and childhood deformities at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics and completed both Basic and Advanced AO training in orthopedic principles and fixation techniques.
Dr. Clarke is board certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, board certified in Podiatric Medicine by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and board certified in Wound Care by the American Board of Wound Healing.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Clarke is passionate about advancing the field of podiatric medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine, and a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association. He also serves as an attending physician for the Pinnacle Health Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program, where he helps educate and mentor the next generation of foot and ankle surgeons.
